DOT and AT&T Hold Distracted Driving Events at High Schools

The Department of Transportation and AT&T will hold a distracted driving pledge events at two high schools this week -- at Middletown High School and Coginchaug-Durham Regional High School in Durham -- encouraging students to "take the pledge" and not text and drive. A similuator will be on hand to demonstrate the potentially deadly effects of a crash.

The Middletown High School event will take place on Tuesday, September 24, at 9:30 a.m. The school is located at 200 LaRosa Lane.

The Coginchaug-Durham Regional High School event will take place on Wednesday, September 25, at 10 a.m. The school is located at 135 Pickett Lane.
