NEWINGTON, Conn. -  State Transportation Commissioner Joseph F. Marie announced today that routine Bridge  Inspection work will be performed on I-84 (westbound) between Exits 45 and 50 in Hartford (Aetna Viaduct). This project is scheduled to take place on Sunday November 16, 2008.   

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The early morning work schedule for this project is 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
