NEWINGTON, Conn.-Acting Transportation Commissioner H. James Boice announced today that a Bridge Maintenance project will be performed on I-95 (northbound) between Exits 3 and 4, in Greenwich.  This project is scheduled to take place on or about Wednesday, April 16, 2008 and Wednesday, April 23, 2008.   

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Wednesday evenings).  There will be alternating lane closures while the work is being performed.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
