  The Connecticut Department of Transportation will conduct a Public Informational Meeting concerning the Replacement of Bridge Nos. 02219 (1.9 miles North of Route 111) and 02220 (2.5 miles North of Route 111) on Route 25 (Main Street) in the Town of Monroe on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at the Monroe Town Hall Offices, Council Chambers, 7 Fan Hill Road, Monroe, Connecticut. Department personnel will be available at 6:30 p.m. to answer questions prior to a formal design presentation at 7:00 p.m.

  This project consists of guiderail improvements on the Route 14 bridge over Moosup River in Plainfield located between Collelo Avenue and Goshen Road. This work is scheduled to occur Tuesday, December 4, 2012, to Friday, December 28, 2012.
 
11/26/2012Utility Project on I-95 North and Southbound in Waterford
  The utility project consists of the installation of overhead transmission lines. Motorists can expect intermittent lane closures to occur on I-95 North and Southbound between Exit 81 (Waterford Parkway) and Exit 82 (Route 85) in Waterford. This project is scheduled to occur Wednesday, December 5, 2012. This project is being performed under an Encroachment Permit for CL&P and will require use of a helicopter to install the overhead transmission lines.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime closure and detour of the Trumbull Street On-Ramp to I-91 North and South and the State Street On-Ramp to I-91 North in New Haven is scheduled to occur Monday, November 19, and Tuesday, November 20, between the hours of 10 PM and 5 AM. Closure and detour of the ramp is necessary to facilitate roadway improvements.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime traffic stoppages will occur for 20 minute intervals on I-95 North, between the Long Wharf Drive on-ramp (Exit 46) and the I-91 North off-ramp (Exit 48), in New Haven. The closures will occur between the hours of 12 AM and 5 AM Tuesday, November 20, and Wednesday, November 21. The traffic stoppages are necessary to facilitate the installation of an overhead sign support.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that Capitol Avenue in Hartford will be closed between Forest Street and Laurel Street for the CTfastrak Project No. 0063-0643/0093-0180 also referred to as Contract No. 3. The work is scheduled from Friday night, October 19, 2012 at 8 p.m. to Monday morning, October 22, 2012 at 6:00 a.m.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that work has started for the milling and resurfacing of Interstate 95 from Interchange 58 (Route 77) in Guilford to the Baldwin Bridge carrying I-95 over the Connecticut River at Interchange 69 (Route 9) in Old Saybrook for a total distance of 17.8 miles.
