2/21/2018Intersection Safety Improvements at Route 219 and Route 318 in Barkhamsted
  The Connecticut Department of Transportation's (Department) Office of Engineering is currently developing plans to realign the intersection of Route 318 and Route 219 to improve safety in the project corridor.
 
2/21/2018Repair work at Cos Cob Bridge over Mianus River
  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing a temporary deviation from the drawbridge operation regulations (33 CFR 117.5 and 33 CFR 117.209) due to ongoing repair work at Cos Cob Bridge over Mianus River at Greenwich, Connecticut. Under this deviation, the draw of the bridge is authorized to operate as follows from 8 a.m. April 10, 2018 to 8 a.m. on Monday, May 14, 2018:
 
2/13/2018Installation and Revision of Traffic Control Signals in Various Connecticut Towns
  The Department of Transportation (Department) is developing plans to install new traffic control signal equipment to meet current Department standards at 10 locations in Cromwell, Manchester, Newington, Plainville, South Windsor, Southington, Wethersfield, and Wolcott. At locations where applicable, pedestrian control features (countdown pedestrian indications, accessible pushbuttons, upgraded sidewalk ramps, and crosswalks) will be upgraded in an effort to improve accessibility and pedestrian safety.   The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that construction activity will begin on Route 37 in Danbury, between Stacey and Barnum Roads, for Project 34-305/345, starting February 5, 2018.
 
1/29/2018I-84 Waterbury Construction Update, I-84 Westbound Closure and Detour at Exit 23 Off-Ramp
  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that there will be an I-84 westbound closure and detour at the Exit 23 off-ramp, for three nights, to facilitate structural steel installation on the Hamilton Avenue Bridge.

  The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime bridge work will be performed on Route 291 westbound in Windsor, overnight Thursday, January 18, to the morning of Friday, January 19, 2018. This bridge, No. 6225, goes over I-91. Route 291 traffic will be detoured.
