Press Release: State Gaming Study Contract Approved
  Paul A. Young, Executive Director of the Connecticut Division of Special Revenue announced today that he has executed a contract with the Spectrum Gaming Group, LLC, of Linwood, New Jersey, to conduct a study of the effects of legalized gambling on the citizens of the state. Young’s action followed the contract’s approval by the State Gaming Policy Board. The Attorney General has also approved the agreement.

Effects of Legalized Gambling Study
  The June 1997 study concerning the effects of legalized gambling on Connecticut is available on the Division of Special Revenue web site. The study, performed by the WEFA Group, is the most recent review of the effects of legalized gambling on the state.
