Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery Program
Intake Centers will be available to assist homeowners in Fairfield and New Haven Counties impacted by Superstorm Sandy in filling out and submitting their application for the Owner Occupied Rehabilitation and Reconstruction program beginning October 24th.
Owner Occupied Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Intake Centers
Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Effective March 1st the intake centers located in Norwalk, Milford, East Haven and Groton will be shut down. The final day for homeowners affected by Superstorm Sandy to visit these centers to receive assistance in completing their applications for CDBG-DR assistance will be Friday, February 28th. The Fairfield Intake Center will remain open until April 1st.
Homeowners who are elderly or disabled and cannot make it to an intake center will still have access to mobile units beyond these closing dates. Homeowners interested in arranging a meeting with the mobile unit should call the programís toll-free hotline at 1-866-272-1976.
