The Connecticut Department of Correction stands resolute in the enforcement of its core mission of protecting the citizens of the State of Connecticut from those who by their actions have chosen the consequence of incarceration.

It is our goal to provide the offenders in our custody with the ability to re-direct their lives and assume responsibility for their actions so that they may successfully return to law-abiding society.
