Branch Activity

Section 36a-145 of the Connecticut General Statutes requires that each application for a branch, or for a limited branch at which money will be lent, be accompanied by a plan detailing how adequate services to meet the banking needs of all community residents will be provided. Plans are submitted when such applications are filed and are available for public inspection and comment at this Department for a period of 30 days. NAME CHANGE

On January 15, 1998, pursuant to the provisions of Section 36a-82 of the Connecticut General Statutes, approval was given to Norwalk Savings Society to change its name to NSS Bank.

NEW BANK ACTIVITY

On January 15, 1998, the organizers of Caribbean First Bank (In Organization) surrendered the Temporary Certificate of Authority which had been issued to them pursuant to Section 36a-70(i) of the Connecticut General Statutes.

MONEY ORDER AND TRAVELERS CHECK LICENSEE ACTIVITY
