DOAG: Passport to Connecticut Farm Wineries

Passport to Connecticut Farm Wineries
The 2018 Passport Program
has closed for stamping as of November 4, 2018

{passport no year cover.jpg} With 41 Connecticut farm wineries and the Connecticut Wine Festival, Goshen, CT, stamps to collect, the new stamp and prize structure seems to have increased the number of participants this year. The 2018 Passport, as it is aptly called, encouraged people to obtain at least 12 of the potential 41 stamps from participating Connecticut wineries. The more stamps, the more chances to win a number of prizes, including a two-week trip for two to Spain. The participating Connecticut wineries are ready and waiting for your visit this season.

The 2019 Passport progam will begin the first Friday of May 2019. Pick up your passport at any participating winery, The Connecticut Wine Festival, or sponsor's business (see hyperlinks to their websites below). Travel around the state, collecting stamps in your passport. The minimum number of stamps to be entered into a drawing is 12 stamps.

Grand Prize #1: For those who have 35 or more stamps in their passport, you will be entered into a drawing for a two-week trip for two, including airfare and lodging, to Benalmadena Palace, Hotel and Spa in Benalmádena Costa, Málaga, Spain, the first two weeks of February (from February 4 - February 17, 2019).

In addition, this elite group of passport participants were entered into a second drawing for A Round Trip Chauffered Limousine to the Connecticut Wine Festival, with up to eight guests!

For anyone with 18 or more stamps in your passport, you are entered into a drawing for the following prizes:

Grand Prize #2: A two-week trip for two, including airfare and lodging, Benalmadena Palace, Hotel and Spa in Benalmádena Costa, Málaga, Spain from mid-February to early March (February 18 - March 4, 2019).

First Prize: A luxurious, relaxing chauffeured limousine wine tour on a Sunday of your choice for eight people to Connecticut wineries.  Prize provided by Gateway Limousines, Waterbury, CT.

15 Second Prizes:  An overnight get-away for two to the La Quinta of Danbury, Danbury, CT, the home of the Antique Trail and so much more.

Third Prize: A delightful wine bangle bracelet and $50 gift card to a very special jewelry store that loves the passport program just as much as you. By Marie's Jewelry in Waterbury, CT.

Passports with 12 or more stamps will be entered to win:

40 Fourth Prizes:  A certificate for two bottles of wine from a 2018 passport-participating Connecticut farm winery.

You must be at least 21 years of age to take part in the program.  You must be present to get your passport stamped. We only allow one passport per person in the drawing.

The 2019 program will begin shortly to start stamping at a 2019 participating winery. This year, the last day to turn in your passport was November 4, 2018.

REMEMBER: The prize drawing will held December 6, 2018. The complete rules of the program can be found in the passport.
