DOAG: Farmers' Market at the Hartford Regional Market

The Farmers' Market at the Regional Market

A seasonal farmers’ market operates on the grounds of the Regional Market under a 170’ x 50’ open-air pavilion and expansive parking lot attracting thousands of customers each week.

The Saturday of Mother’s Day weekend, is the busiest market day of the year, when consumers come to purchase trees, hanging plants, shrubs, perennials, and bedding plants.  In summer, shoppers can find fruits and vegetables along with an assortment of other products such as cut flowers, honey, eggs, and maple syrup, with some items available year round.

For a successful trip to the farmers' market keep these things in mind:

  • Gates are open from 4:00 to 10:00 a.m., however the earlier you get there, the wider the selection
  • Bring a flashlight and a wagon/cart to carry your purchases
  • Please note that most vendors do have credit card capabilities
