A duplicate vessel registration may only be obtained by the owner of the vessel. The fee for obtaining a duplicate is $20.  In order to obtain the duplicate vessel registration, you may visit your local Department of Motor Vehicles branch office with your vessel registration number, or write to the DMV at:

In your correspondence please be sure to include:

• Vessel Registration Number
• Your name and address
• Your signature
• Check or money order made payable to the "DMV" in the amount of $20

Note:  The fee to obtain a copy of an original registration application is $20. This can only be done by mail. Please see address listed above.  A copy of your driver's license or a photo ID must be submitted with your written request.
