DMV: Child Safety Class

Child Safety Class
 
If you are convicted of failing to properly use a child safety restraint device, you must appear in person to complete the required child safety course before the effective date of your suspension.
 
Please do not register for this class unless this is a requirement mandated by the Superior Court or the DMV.
 
The class is approximately two (2) hours long. Doors will close at start time. You will be redirected to our online registration system.

If you need to reschedule a class, please email dmv.childsafety@ct.gov with your name, date of birth, and date of class that you are cancelling. You may then re-enroll in a new class.

If you failed to complete the class by the suspension date, your driver's license or driving privilege will be suspended for a period of sixty (60) days.  To be reinstated, you will need to complete the class and pay a restoration fee of $175.
