For an unpaid ticket received in Connecticut you must contact the Connecticut Judicial Branch Superior Court at the telephone number printed on the suspension notice.
If the ticket is paid or reopened before the effective date of suspension, the Superior Court will electronically submit this information and a compliance notification will be sent to your current mailing address. All court fees must be paid either by mail or in person at the Superior Court listed on the suspension notice.
If the ticket is paid or reopened on or after the effective date of suspension, the Superior Court will electronically submit this information to the Department of Motor Vehicles. You must submit a check or money order payable to "DMV" in the amount of $175 to restore your driverís license or driving privilege to the following address:

Normal processing time is 10 business days from the date the Driver Services Division receives your correspondence.
Please clearly print your name, current address and date of birth on all documents.
You cannot legally operate a motor vehicle until you receive an official notice from the Department of Motor Vehicles informing you that the restoration has been processed.
