Rescheduling a Road Test Appointment
SERVICE UPDATE: As DMV transitions to a new, online-only appointment system for road tests, DMV will stop taking road test appointments on October 21 and October 23, and will resume October 24 with its new convenient online system. See more information here.
Please see situations below and follow the steps to reschedule your road test appointment.
Unable to Keep Driver's Test Appointment
If you are unable to keep your driver's license test appointment, you must either visit your local DMV Office or call the DMV Phone Center
prior to the scheduled test date. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit of the prepaid testing fee.
Driver License Testing Delays or Cancellations
Road testing may be delayed or cancelled in certain areas of the state due to inclement weather.
To determine if testing is being conducted at the location you are scheduled for, please call the DMV Phone Center
on the day of your driver's license test. If testing is being conducted, you are expected to appear for the scheduled test or you will forfeit the testing fee. If testing has been cancelled, the DMV Phone Center
will provide instructions for the rescheduling of your driver's license test.
