The Department of Motor Vehicles is seeking your assistance. We want to know your thoughts about subjects we should be addressing in speeches to civic groups, radio talk shows, television interviews, press releases and publications we distribute. Education is part of DMV's mission. Although registering vehicles and licensing drivers is an important part of what we do, DMV also has a responsibility to educate the public on a variety of issues. Some of our educational initiatives have included the use of seat belts and safety restraints for children, safe-driving techniques when traveling around large trucks, school bus safety rules, driving laws for 16-and 17-year-old drivers and ways to avoid so-called "road rage" or aggressive driving on the highway. We have also talked about several internal projects underway to eliminate bureaucratic rules and cut red tape so that customers have an easier time when they come to the DMV to transact business.
As a customer, whether you are happy or unhappy with service that DMV provided, we value your opinions. They help us understand what we can do better. And they tell us how well other changes are working or if we need to review them again. Please e-mail us ideas on topics we should address. If you have a specific problem, please use this mail link to our direct customer service desk. Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts. Content Last Modified on 4/28/2017 2:10:08 PM |
