DMV: DMV Offices to Close Tuesday, Nov. 11, for Veterans Day Holiday

DMV Offices to Close Tuesday, Nov. 11,
for Veterans Day Holiday
 
WETHERSFIELD – Department of Motor Vehicles’ customer service offices, in recognition of the Veterans Day holiday, will be closed on Tuesday, November 11. As a reminder, DMV customer service offices are always closed on Mondays.
 
AAA offices will be open to process driver’s license renewals during their normal business hours in Avon, Cromwell, Enfield, Manchester, Old Saybrook, Plainville, Waterford, West Hartford Offices on Tuesday, November 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 
 
AAA offices will be closed in Branford, Danbury, Hamden, Milford, Stamford, Waterbury and Westport will be closed on Veterans Day (Tuesday, November 11).
 
AAA offices perform the following DMV services:
• VERIFIED Driver's License Renewals - U.S. Citizens Only
• REGULAR Driver's License Renewals
 
• VERIFIED ID Card Renewals - U.S. Citizens Only
• REGULAR ID Card Renewals
 
• Duplicate Drivers' Licenses, ID Cards, and Learners' Permits
When renewing at a AAA office, U.S. Citizens will have a choice of a regular or verified license or ID Card. Non-U.S. Citizens will need to visit a DMV office to apply for a verified renewal. Please see information on the SelectCT ID Program.
 
AAA offices do not process the following license-related services:
• Commercial Drivers' Licenses (CDL).
• Licenses with endorsements/restrictions for public passengers.
• Suspended drivers' licenses. Your license will not be renewed until your license privilege is restored. See how to resolve a license suspension.
