NG9-1-1 Cutover Schedule


The Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, Division of Statewide Emergency Telecommunications (DSET) with its partner AT&T, will commence deployment of the West Safety Services VIPER NG9-1-1 call handling solution on January 19, 2017.


The deployment schedule is below.  You will be contacted by AT&T well in advance of your cutover, to advise you of equipment delivery and information about training, timelines and activities which will take place at cutover.  Please bear in mind, that while we will do everything possible to maintain this schedule, due to the scope and complexity of this deployment it is possible that schedule changes may occur.

The Comtech NG9-1-1 platform installed in 2016 at 57 PSAPs will be completely replaced by the West Safety Services VIPER NG9-1-1 system by August 2017.  Comtech system related documentation can found below.
