STATE POLICE SEEK PUBLIC'S HELP TO IDENTIFY ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS

On 5-29-14 at 11:52 p.m., State Police at Troop D received a 911 call reporting an armed robbery that just occurred at the Chucky’s gas station located at 500 Providence Road in Brooklyn, Connecticut.

Troopers were dispatched to the scene and learned from the victim that two black males entered the store and forcefully took physical control of the cashier.  The males were 5’07” to 6’00” tall, medium builds, one wearing a red-hooded sweatshirt with dark-colored jeans, and the other wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, jean shirt and white colored sneakers.

One suspect grabbed the cashier from behind and placed a metal object to his neck and demanded money which the victim turned over to the other suspect upon opening the cash register. The suspects then fled the store on foot. Troopers began a search of the area along with canine units. Detectives were notified and responded to investigate.

Anyone with information in regards to this armed robbery is urged to contact the Troop D tip line at 860-779-4944.
