Statewide Narcotics Task Force Make Two Arrests for Narcotics

 

   On 05/28/2014, Detectives from the State Police Statewide Narcotics Task Force, South Central Field Office, concluded a criminal investigation into a crack cocaine dealing operation in the greater West Haven area. 

   A search warrant was executed at 18 Knox Street, Unit #B1, in West Haven.  Residing at that address were Stacey Bynum (DOB 3/23/1969) and Travis Stevens (DOB 2/02/1974). 

 

   A second search warrant was executed at Good Daddy’s Convenience Store located at 219 Boston Post Road in West Haven, which is a business owned by Stevens.  A third search warrant was executed at a self-storage facility in West Haven.  

 

   Seized at these locations were: marijuana; fentanyl patches; crack cocaine; heroin; and approximately $16,700 in cash.

 

   Bynum and Stevens were charged with several on-sight narcotic possession violations and several outstanding narcotic sale warrants. 

 

   They will be arraigned at GA #22 in Milford on 5/29/2014.
