STATE POLICE SEEK PUBLIC'S HELP TO IDENTIFY SUSPECT
IN ROUTE 2 ROAD RAGE INCIDENT

CASE SUMMARY:   State Police Detectives from the Troop E Major Crime Unit are requesting assistance from the Public regarding the following:

 

   Detectives are investigating a Road Rage incident on Route 2 Eastbound involving two vehicles  which began in the Glastonbury area and ended in the Norwich area. On Thursday, 01/30/14, between 11:00-11:30 PM, the two vehicles were traveling East on Route 2 when the occupant from one vehicle pointed a handgun at the occupants and then discharged the handgun, firing a round into the victims' vehicle. The suspect vehicle is being described as a late model Honda CR-V, color Black with a partial Connecticut Registration of 766 for the first three digits.

 

   Anyone with information regarding this or a similar incident is asked to call Det. Greer at (860) 848-6534 or Text-A-Tip by texting ‘TIP711' plus your message’ to CRIMES (274637) where information may be left anonymously.
