STATE POLICE INVESTIGATING ARMED ROBBERY IN MADISON
 

   On Monday, December 23, 2013, at approximately 3:30 a.m., the McDonalds Restaurant in Madison was robbed. Connecticut State Police from Troop F responded and actively initiated a criminal investigating

 

   This robbery occurred at the Interstate 95 southbound rest area between Exits 62 and 61, in Madison. Two Hispanic males wearing ski masks entered the McDonald's restaurant armed with handguns. There were no customers inside the restaurant, and there were four employees. Three of the employees sustained minor injuries during the robbery and were transported to the Guilford Shoreline Clinic where they were treated and released.

 

   Troopers with CT State Police K-9 teams, as well as surrounding police departments, were dispatched to the scene to assist with the investigation. A New Haven Police Officer was dispatched to the scene to assist with translation. An undetermined amount of money was taken. The State Police Central District Major Crime Squad Detectives also responded to the scene to conduct this investigating.  

 

   Troopers are asking anyone who may have witnessed anything in the area of McDonalds or anyone who might have any information relating to this armed robbery is asked to contact State Police Troop F in Westbrook at 860-399-2100. All calls will be kept confidential.
