STATE POLICE SEEK HELP OF THE PUBLIC TO IDENTIFY SUSPECT IN PRESTON LARCENY

   On May 21, 2013, Connecticut State Police responded to a complaint of a larceny from the Citgo Bestway Gas Station located on Rt. 2 in Preston.  Troopers responded and the initial investigation determined that a lone male entered the store and took various items of merchandise with an estimated value of $1,500.

 

   The male suspect fled on foot from the store. Troopers searched the area with negative results and notified all surrounding police agencies of the theft.

 

   During this criminal investigation, investigators developed information and physical evidence. In addition, Troopers obtained a photo of the suspect from the video surveillance system located in the store.  See photos below:
