STATE POLICE MAKE ARREST AT BRADLEY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Today, August 5, 2013, at approximately 3:10 p.m., an incident took place at the Bradley International Airport checkpoint. A passenger identified as Jordan Rickard, DOB 02/24/87, from North Carolina, was attempting to fly on a flight from Bradley. He went through TSA security screening and was chosen by TSA for further screening.
TSA Officers approached and asked if RICKARD had anything in his pockets and he replied “Yes, I have a Bomb.” TSA contacted State Troopers on duty at the airport and the accused Jordan Rickard was taken into custody by State Police while at the checkpoint.
RICKARD was formally arrested, transported to and processed at the State Police CSP Bradley Airport Office. His girlfriend was identified by Troopers and was interviewed by Troopers relative to this investigation.
The accused was processed and charged with numerous criminal charges relative to his comments. He was held on $25,000 bond and was presented in Superior Court GA #13 in Enfield to answer the charges.
