STATE POLICE MAKE ARREST IN TOLLAND BURGLARIES
On July 22, 2012, State Police responded to a residence in Tolland to investigate a burglary/larceny into a motor vehicle. Through a neighborhood canvas and several phoned in complaints, it was discovered that twenty-three (23) vehicles were entered/gone through and/or had items stolen from them totaling approximately $9,000.
Many items were recovered and multiple burglaries were solved from twelve towns including State and local jurisdictions.
On June 18, 2013, Sean Belanger DOB: 10/22/90, was arrested and charged with Burglary into a MV (13 counts), conspiracy to commit burglary (13 counts), larceny third degree, larceny fifth degree (9 counts) and larceny sixth.
Belanger was held on a $50,000 bond and presented in GA 19, Rockville, on June 18, 2013. This case is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
