STATE POLICE INITIATE MISSING PERSON CASE
On Wednesday, April 24, 2013, Connecticut State Police was contacted by Eastern Connecticut State University Police regarding a person reported missing. University Police were advised that this student’s whereabouts were unknown. University Police had initiated a case after receiving this report and learning that the student could not be located by friends or family.
State Police Major Crime Detectives and State Police Missing Person Detectives responded to the University to begin work on this investigation. The State Police Emergency Services Trooper K-9 teams responded to conduct searched of specific areas for investigators.
Family and friends were interviewed by Missing Person & Major Crime Detectives relative to the missing females last known movements.
The missing female is identified as ALYSSIAH MARIE WILEY, DOB: 11/24/92. She is described as a Black Female, 5’6”, 150 lbs., and was reported to be a person missing from Eastern Connecticut State University last seen on April 20, 2013.
