                              STATE POLICE COMPUTER CRIMES ARREST

Arrested:  Jeffrey Moran DOB 4/6/53

     15 Dover Road in Enfield, CT

 

Charges:

 

Criminal Attempt at Impairing the Morals of a Minor, in violation of CGS  53a-49/53-21 (two counts);

 

Criminal Attempt at Enticing a Minor, in violation of C.G.S. 53a-49/53a-90

 

The Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit concluded a criminal investigation of

a 59-year-old man who used the Internet to arrange meetings for sex with what he perceived

to be a juvenile aged girl.  After using sexually graphic images to attempt to entice the juvenile,

and then driving to meet the juvenile girl at her residence, an arrest warrant was obtained

for his arrest.  Moran, the accused, was arrested today.  He was processed and held on bond

to appear at GA-7 on 3/28/13 with a $25,000 cash/surety bond.
