STATE POLICE MAKE ARREST IN WINDHAM ROBBERY

ACCUSED/ARRESTED:    

Ahearn, Joseph

D.O.B. 11-27-72

21 Pond Way, Windham, CT                                                                         

CHARGES: Robbery 1^st   53a-134,  Larceny 6^th   125b    

    On November 29, 2012, Troopers were dispatched to 307 Boston Post Road in Windham for a report of a robbery which had just occurred during which the suspect stated he had a gun. 

   Troopers were on the scene within minutes and were immediately directed by witnesses to a nearby trailer park.  Upon the Troopers' arrival at the trailer park, witnesses who were following the suspect pointed him out to the Troopers.  The suspect was then taken into custody without incident. 

   Further investigation by the Eastern District Major Crime Unit revealed that the suspect is linked to a robbery at the same location just two days prior.
