STATE POLICE INVESTIGATE HOME INVASION
Today, 11/29/12, shortly after 9:30 a.m., State Police received a 911 call reporting a home invasion at a residence located at 11 Bigelow Road in Hampton.
Troopers responded to the residence and initiated a criminal investigation. State Police Detectives also responded to assist in this case. Initial investigative information determined that two males forced their way into the residence, assaulted the male victim and tied him up. The two suspects stole a television and other property from the residence. The two male suspects then fled from the scene in an older, dark purple Ford Taurus which was seen fleeing from the scene Route 6 westbound.
The victim was able to free himself and call State Police. He was not injured in this incident.
The two suspects were described as follows:
#1 Hispanic male, 6 ‘1”, medium-build, mustache, wearing gray sweatpants and shirt
#2 Hispanic male, 5’9”, medium-build, wearing black thick-rimmed glasses, short dark hair and wearing jeans.
Troopers searched the area for the suspects. State Police K-9 teams and aviation unit responded to assist in this search. All surrounding law enforcement agencies were advised of this incident.
