   On 10/31/12, at about 3:00 p.m., Detectives from the Connecticut State Police Central District Major Crime assisted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office in the State of New Jersey with a double homicide investigation that took place on 10/30/12 in River Edge, New Jersey. 

   During the course of the New Jersey investigation, the Bergen County District Attorney’s Office developed probable cause and issued an extraditable arrest warrant for the accused in this case, Monica G. Mogg, D.O.B. 09/30/63, for the murder of two people in River Edge, New Jersey.

   Connecticut State Police Detectives located accused Monica Mogg with the assistance of law enforcement partners.

   On 11/01/12 accused Mogg was taken into custody here in Connecticut.  She was transported to Troop H where she was processed and held on bond as a Fugitive from Justice 54-170 based on New Jersey’s active arrest warrant. Accused Mogg was held on a $2 million bond and will be arraigned in Hartford Superior Court, GA14, today 11/01/12.
