STATE POLICE MAKE ARRESTS IN HOME INVASION

   On September 4, 2012, State Police at Troop C received a 9-1-1 call for an armed robbery and home invasion at a residence on Derek Road in Mansfield. Troopers from the Mansfield Resident Trooper’s office and Troop C responded to the scene and learned that two victims were confronted by five masked men and tied up during the robbery.  A handgun was used in the robbery.

   State Police Detectives responded and assumed the investigation.  As a result of their investigation, State Police Detectives developed suspects and recovered evidence involved in this crime. Detectives obtained arrest warrants for the following individuals.  These individuals turned themselves in at Troop C, Tolland CT on October 1, 2012.  Each was held in lieu of their court set bond and transported to court. 

   No additional arrests are anticipated.

Arrested:  Peter Alba, DOB 06-06-78, 171 South Windham Rd, Windham

Charges:

1.  Home Invasion/Armed Robbery, C.G.S. 53a-100aa.

2.  Robbery 1st Degree, C.G.S. 53a-134.

3.  Kidnapping 1st Degree, C.G.S. 53a-92a.

4.  Burglary 1st Degree, C.G.S. 53a-101.

5.  Larceny 6th Degree, C.G.S. 53a-125b.

     Alba was held in lieu of a $1,000,000.00 court set bond.  Alba was transported by the Judicial Marshals to GA-19, Rockville for presentment on 10-01-12.

Arrested:  Eric Racine, DOB 09-08-77, 28 Hanks Hill Rd, Mansfield

Charges:

1.  Home Invasion/Armed Robbery, C.G.S. 53a-100aa.

2.  Robbery 1st Degree, C.G.S. 53a-134.

3.  Kidnapping 1st Degree, C.G.S. 53a-92a.

4.  Burglary 1st Degree, C.G.S. 53a-101.

5.  Larceny 6th Degree, C.G.S. 53a-125b.

6.  Criminal Use of Firearm, C.G.S. 53a-216

     Racine was held in lieu of a $1,250,000.00 court set bond.  Racine was transported by the Judicial Marshals to GA-19, Rockville for presentment on 10-01-12.

Arrested:  Javier Crespo, DOB 09-30-89, 466 Ash St, Willimantic

Charges:

1.  Home Invasion/Armed Robbery, C.G.S. 53a-100aa.

2.  Robbery 1st Degree, C.G.S. 53a-134.

3.  Kidnapping 1st Degree, C.G.S. 53a-92a.

4.  Burglary 1st Degree, C.G.S. 53a-101.

5.  Larceny 6th Degree, C.G.S. 53a-125b.

     Crespo was held in lieu of a $1,250,000.00 court set bond.  Crespo was transported by the Judicial Marshals to GA-19, Rockville for presentment on 10-01-12.

Arrested:  Antony Santiago-Figueroa, DOB 05-25-87, 63 Impala Dr, Willimantic

Charges:

1.  Home Invasion/Armed Robbery, C.G.S. 53a-100aa.

2.  Robbery 1st Degree, C.G.S. 53a-134.

3.  Kidnapping 1st Degree, C.G.S. 53a-92a.

4.  Burglary 1st Degree, C.G.S. 53a-101.

5.  Larceny 6th Degree, C.G.S. 53a-125b.

     Santiago was held in lieu of a $750,000.00 court set bond.  Santiago was transported by the Judicial Marshals to GA-19, Rockville for presentment on 10-01-12.

Arrested:  17 year old juvenile male.

1.  Conspiracy to Commit Home Invasion/Armed Robbery, C.G.S. 53a-48/100aa.

2.  Conspiracy to Commit Robbery 1st Degree, C.G.S. 53a-48/134.

3.  Conspiracy to Commit Kidnapping 1st Degree, C.G.S. 53a-48/92a.

4.  Conspiracy to Commit Burglary 1st Degree, C.G.S. 53a-48/101.

5.  Conspiracy to Commit Larceny 6th Degree, C.G.S. 53a-48/125b.

     The juvenile was held in lieu of a $750,000.00 court set bond.  The juvenile was transported to Hartford Juvenile Detention, Hartford CT.
