Potable Water Program

The Potable Water Program ensures that individuals whose private or public drinking water supply wells may be at risk of becoming contaminated or have become contaminated as a result of human activity are provided a safe supply of potable water. For those cases, the Remediation Division can make arrangements for short-term provisions of potable water and treatment systems or make arrangements for connection to a public water system for the long-term provision of potable water.
