Current Projects

The following high-profile projects may be of interest to the general public:

  • Newhall Remediation Project, Hamden - The Newhall Remediation Project Website describes the history of the Newhall neighborhood in Hamden, where pollution has been found, and what is being done about it.
Video - Newhall Cleanup Begins - This short video explains why it is necessary to clean up the soil in the Newhall Street Neighborhood and how clean up operations will be performed to remove the waste fill. It also answers common questions about safety measures that will be taken during the cleanup.
  • Raymark Industries, Stratford - This link to the USEPA website contains the site description, history, actions to date, and site contacts for the Raymark NPL site.
