The commercial tautog fishery will reopen on October 15, 2008. At that time the possession limit for the trawl fishery will be 75 fish. The fishery will remain open at this limit through December 6, 2008, or until further notification. (N08-23)

Effective 0001 hours, Wednesday, October 1, 2008, the Connecticut possession limit for the commercial harvest of bluefish is increased from 500 to 1,000 pounds.
Effective 0001 hours, Wednesday, October 1, 2008, the Connecticut possession limit for the commercial harvest of black sea bass for all gear types excluding lobster pots is increased to 300 pounds. (N08-24)
