DHS Protective Measures Course
This is a two day course December 5 and December 6, 2012 The DHS Protective Measures Course is a two-day class that will take place at the Northeast Utilities Auditorium (107 Selden St, Berlin, CT) on December 5th and 6th. This 16-hour class is designed for both the Public and Private Sector, so just about anyone with any security-related duties is welcome to attend – executive and employee level owners and operators of critical infrastructure; security personnel; first responders (Police/Fire/EMT); emergency management personnel; military personnel; municipal employees; etc. The course is designed to provide owners and operators in the public and private sector with the knowledge to identify the appropriate protective measures for their unique sector. The course provides information pertaining to available protective measures and the strategies for determining which can be effectively employed in their sector. The course educates participants on the threat analysis process, terrorist methodologies and planning cycles, applicable protective measures, and the process for determining which protective measures to employ.
