EPPI stands for Governor Malloy's Emergency Planning and Preparedness Initiative.  Various workgroups have been established with State, local and private agencies working together to enhance plans, preparedness and training at every level.  Here is an April 2012 Update to the Governor's Office from Director Hackett.
