As another snowstorm approaches, it is appropriate to consider snow load safety issues, particularly in those towns in eastern Connecticut that have been especially hard hit.  DESPP/DEMHS, in consultation with the State Building Inspector and the Commission on Fire Prevention and Control, provide the following links for further information:
