The State of Connecticut is participating in the Regional Catastrophic Planning Grant (RCPG), which is a U.S. Department of Homeland Security-funded, multi-state initiative involving New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.  The purpose of the program is to improve regional catastrophic preparedness through three primary objectives: (1) fix shortcomings in existing plans, (2) build regional planning processes and planning communities, and (3) link operational and capabilities-based planning to resource allocation.  All work under the RCPG is directed by the NY-NJ-CT-PA Regional Catastrophic Planning Team (RCPT) and administered through Public Health Solutions, Inc.

The RCPT is seeking bright and creative individuals to join a team of emergency planners who will work on planning projects that will increase the resiliency and security of the region. This initiative will enhance regional catastrophic preparedness and continuity of operations in the high-risk metropolitan area.  Applicants must apply online through the link below.
