2013 STATE PARK CAMPING AREAS NEW FOR 2013: A limited number of sites are available for long term rental (LTR) at Hammonasset Beach SP and Rocky Neck SP from May 24, 2013 until Labor Day 2013. You must reserve at least 22 consecutive nights for these sites. You can reserve up to 90 consecutive days. Fee is $30.00 per night for CT residents and $45.00 per night for non-CT residents. On May 16, 2013 the sites will return to the standard prices and stay rules.

HORSE CAMP AREAS
The following campgrounds have been designed exclusively for equestrian use. They open for camping in 2012 on April 20 and close on Thanksgiving. All sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Camping is offered for riders who can provide their own mounts.  Horse rentals are not available.
NATCHAUG STATE FOREST
Pilfershire Road, Eastford Silvermine Horse Camp. 15 wooded sites. Basic facilities only - campers are responsible for cleaning sites and carrying out all trash. Pet permitted. No fee. The campground is located on State lands that are open to hunting (860) 974-1562
