The General Permit for Contaminated Soil and/or Sediment Management was extended/reissued on September 9, 2011 for a period of two years, expiring on September 11, 2013. Although no significant changes to the content of the General Permit were made, certain minor changes were made regarding general references such as the agency name. Please note that registrations that were current and valid on September 6, 2011 have also been extended for an additional two years until September 11, 2013. Such registration extensions have occurred automatically and no action is required by the registrant to obtain the extension.
