As of January 1, 2016, the DEEP Store has transitioned from a “brick and mortar” presence to an online only shopping venue. While the DEEP Store has closed its physical doors, we will continue to offer a selection of merchandise online.

The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection provides Connecticut based information and data to a variety of users in an array of formats. Traditional printed material, maps and digital products are available through the DEEP Store. As of January 1, 2016, the DEEP Store has transitioned from a “brick and mortar” presence to an online only shopping venue. While the DEEP Store has closed its physical doors, we will continue to offer a selection of merchandise online.

The DEEP Store is the point of distribution for the publications of the Connecticut Geological and Natural History Survey including the Natural Diversity DatabaseThe store also currently carries a limited selection of titles from various not-for-profit and smaller publishers, as well as U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute topographic maps for the entire state.  The store can also produce Maps on Demand.

Our goal is to provide the citizens of Connecticut with the ability to obtain natural resources information about our state and surrounding areas.  We strive for the best quality at affordable prices. Publishing and printing are funded through publication sales and donations, and our publications are among the best in the nation when it comes to environmentally friendly materials. The latest and most sensitive processes are employed in coatings, inks and papers.

Many of our publications are available for viewing at libraries around the state, including the Connecticut State Library.
