Branford River State Boat Launch
The Branford River State Boat Launch will remain closed while the final stages of construction work are completed on the launch. Please check back on Tuesday, July 25, when we expect to have a final "open" date for this site. Thank you for your patience as we finalize the renovations necessary to make this a state-of-the-art boat ramp.
Branford River State Boat Launch
The Branford River State Boat Launch is anticipated to open on July 22.  The original opening was delayed because repairs were needed at the base of the new ramp because of settling.  These repairs will ensure that trailer tires will not go over the lip of the ramp at low water and prevent long term scouring from power-loading.
The Department is aware of the strategic location that this ramp provides for so many people. We are sorry for the delay and appreciate your support as we work to complete a state of the art, ADA compliant boat launch that will provide safe access for boaters for the next 25 years.
