DEEP EnCon Police Recover Body from Lake Lillinonah
Downstream from Lovers Leap Gorge
Connecticut’s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) Environmental Conservation (EnCon) Police today recovered a body from Lake Lillinonah, Bridgewater.  The body was spotted at approximately 11:40 AM by a homeowner from a dock at 100 Lake Lillinonah Road North, Bridgewater.  The homeowner reported the body to the Connecticut State Police who notified DEEP.  This location is across the lake from Lovers Leap State Park where a search has been ongoing for Eric Langlois, 33, New Milford who has been missing since last Tuesday, June 11.
EnCon Police, State Police, New Milford Police and Bridgewater Volunteer Fire Department responded.  Two EnCon Police officers recovered the body, bringing it to the Bridgewater town dock with the assistance of the Bridgewater Fire Dept boat.  The body was then transferred to the Chief Medical Examiner for positive identification.  Identification is pending.
