Effective January 1, 2009, the Office of Long Island Sound Programs (OLISP) will be implementing the following permit process changes:

1. a requirement that all permit applications include a site survey that must be prepared, signed and sealed by a land surveyor licensed in the State of Connecticut, and

2. a requirement that all permit application drawings be prepared, signed and sealed by a professional engineer licensed in the State of Connecticut.

Additional and more specific details regarding these application requirements can be found in the permit application instructions in “Part V: Supporting Documents,” under “Attachment I: Project Plans.”
