Coastal Management

Public Act 12-101, An Act Concerning the Coastal Management Act and Shoreline Flood and Erosion Control Structures went into effect on October 1, 2012. The law contains several new coastal management provisions including revised policies regarding shoreline flood and erosion control structures, changes in state coastal permitting jurisdiction, and new policies related to sea level rise.
