Guidelines for Use of the CT Clean Marina Logo

{Clean Marina Logo}  

The CT Clean Marina Logo is intended for reasonable use by certified Connecticut Clean Marinas to market their facility and promote their environmental efforts.  The logo is also intended for use by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to promote the Connecticut Clean Marina Program.

Electronic versions of the CT Clean Marina Logo shall be provided to certified Clean Marinas by the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

Allowable logo use by certified CT Clean Marinas:

  1. The CT Clean Marina logo may be placed on company letterhead and/or envelopes for the purpose of communicating with customers, professional organizations, service contractors, etc.

  2. The CT Clean Marina logo may be placed in company brochures, fact sheets, information sheets, pamphlets, etc., which may be placed in letters, on public bulletin boards, or other appropriate locations.

  3. The CT Clean Marina logo may be placed on the certified marina’s web page.

  4. The CT Clean Marina logo may be used in advertisements placed in magazines, trade journals, newspapers, or other appropriate communication media.

  5. The CT Clean Marina logo may be placed on service or slip contracts.

  6. The CT Clean Marina logo may be placed on burgees, banners, and/or permanent signs posted at certified Clean Marinas.

The logo may not be used:

  1. To promote specific retail products sold by the certified Clean Marina.

  2. By trade or professional organizations except for the express purpose of promoting certified Clean Marinas or the Clean Marina Program in general.

  3. By entities not officially designated as certified CT Clean Marinas, unless written permission is provided by the CT Clean Marina Program.

  4. On any vessel or vehicle, stickers, articles of clothing, or other items not specifically referenced, except by, or with written permission from the CT Clean Marina Program.
