Saturday, April 18
Hamden Earth Day Celebration
Free activities and shows, plus giveaways!
10:00 am -3:00 pm at Hamden Middle School, 2623 Dixwell Avenue
This year’s popular family-oriented celebration will feature: over 60 exhibitors promoting earth friendly services, products and organizations; food; music; and activities including face painting, woodworking projects, bird feeders craft, a scavenger hunt (complete it and win a prize), a coloring contest, crafts, and other fun and games.

5th annual Trashion Fashion Show
Local Fashion with Global Impact
1:00 – 3:00 pm at Hartford City Hall, 550 Main Street
All ages welcome.  Admission:  $10

From Our Gardens to the Sound, Pollution Travels
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm, Mercy Center, Dempsey Auditorium, 149 Neck Road, Madison, CT
Heather Crawford, Chair of Madison Conservation Commission, will explore environmental issues associated with local gardening practices, specifically how activities in and around our homes impact Long Island Sound.
