Scup Winter Possession Limit

REMINDER: THE LANDING LIMIT FOR THE COMMERCIAL HARVEST OF SCUP IS 30,000 POUNDS PER TWO-WEEK PERIOD PER LICENSE HOLDER, REGARDLESS OF WHERE LANDED, UNTIL 80% OF THE COAST WIDE ‘WINTER I’ SCUP QUOTA IS LANDED, AT WHICH TIME THE TRIP LIMIT WILL BE 1000 POUNDS.

THE TWO-WEEK PERIODS IN 2006 ARE:

PERIOD 1 JANUARY 1 – JANUARY 14
PERIOD 2 JANUARY 15 – JANUARY 28
PERIOD 3 JANUARY 29 – FEBRUARY 11
PERIOD 4 FEBRUARY 12 – FEBRUARY 25
PERIOD 5 FEBRUARY 26 – MARCH 11
PERIOD 6 MARCH 12 – MARCH 25
PERIOD 7 MARCH 26 – APRIL 8
PERIOD 8 APRIL 9 – APRIL 22
PERIOD 9 APRIL 23 – APRIL 30

During any the two-week period listed above, no license holder shall land scup at any other port or any other state once that license holder’s aggregate scup landings for that two-week period total 30,000 pounds, regardless of the state landed.
