The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) hereby gives notice that a tentative determination has been reached to deny the following application submitted under Section 22a-361 of the Connecticut General Statutes (CGS) for a permit to authorize work completed waterward of the coastal jurisdiction line in tidal, coastal or navigable waters of the state.  The Commissioner also gives notice that a hearing may be held on this application if a written request is received from the applicant, or if the Commissioner determines that the public interest will best be served thereby.  The Commissioner shall also hold a hearing pursuant to CGS Section 22a-361(b) on receipt of a petition signed by twenty-five or more persons.

The proposed activity seeks to authorize two existing metal post and wire fences located along the shoreline of the property which will affect public access.
