10/13/20172017 Commercial Fishery Possession Limits
  Effective 0001 hours Sunday, October 15, 2017, the smooth dogfish commercial fishery possession limit will be reduced to zero pounds. Effective 0001 hours Sunday, October 15, 2017, the scup commercial fishery possession limit will be increased. (N17-19)
9/29/20172017 Commercial Fishery Possession Limits
  Effective 0001 hours, Sunday, October 1, 2017, the scup commercial fishery possession limit will be increased to 200 pounds for holders of Scup License Endorsements. In addition, for Restricted Commercial Fishing License holders who do not hold a Scup License Endorsement the limit will be 20 fish. (N17-18)

  Effective 0001 hours Sunday, September 10, 2017, the scup commercial fishery possession limit will be 100 pounds for holders of Scup License Endorsements. (N17-17)

  Effective August 20, 2017 the commercial fishery possession limits for scup and summer flounder have changed. (N17-16)

7/7/20172017 Commercial Fishery Possession Limits
  Effective 0001 hours Sunday, July 9, 2017, the scup commercial fishery possession limit will be reduced from 600 pounds to 200 pounds. Restricted Commercial Fishing License holders who do not hold a Scup License Endorsement are reduced from 60 fish to 20 fish. (N17-14)

  Black Sea Bass: Effective 0001 hours Sunday, June 11, 2017, the possession limit for the commercial license holders will be 80 pounds (Black Sea Bass License Endorsement required) except for lobster pots which remains at 10 fish. (N17-11)

3/10/2017Notice to Recreational Fishermen
  Upon consideration of public comment obtained at an ASMFC public hearing on summer flounder , a DEEP public meeting on summer flounder and black sea bass and comments from the Marine Advisory Group the management measures for summer flounder have been amended. The management measures for black sea bass may have to be amended later in the year. (N17-05)
